Recoton F.R.E.D. I MTS Stereo TV Decoder for Analog TV.This is a stereo demodulator for older analog TV sets that did not have internal MTS (Multichannel Television Sound) demodulating internally. Inputs for MPX (multiplex) In and Probe. MPX would connect to a multiplex output of the TV set. The Probe input is for TVs that do not have a MPX output and requires an inductive pickup that you attach to the TV's cabinet. Buttons on the front panel for noise reduction, stereo synthesizer, spatial effect and stereo/mono. Two sets of Left/Right outputs to feed an external amplifier or stereo system. Includes power supply and multiplex cable.
